Alyssa & Jake - Standish, Maine

Alyssa and Jake purchased what used to be Moulton Orchard in Standish last year. They have big plans to make it a working farm again and a wedding venue. The farm is protected by Maine Farmland Trust as a forever farm! The trust is a member-powered statewide organization that protects farmland, supports farmers, and advances the future of farming. I’m so excited to see how they revive such a beautiful spot!

Alyssa and Jake planned on a big celebration but had to adapt to Maine’s guidelines and have a smaller, more intimate day this June. They got married summer solstice, the longest day of the year! The orchard, now named Dube Farm, was absolutely stunning, giving us beautiful rows of apple trees to shoot in while the light poured through the branches. They used vintage chairs for their ceremony and scattered wildflower seeds so they would be able to look back years later and see flowers where they said I do.

After a stunning ceremony at the orchard, we hopped in the car and drove down to Old Orchard Beach for portraits and of course, pier fries! I loved seeing everyone’s reactions to the couple walking through the streets of OOB in their wedding attire.
