Abby & Bobby - Mad River Barn Waitsfield, VT

I met Abby + Bobby last year when they came to Maine for their engagement session. Our common interests made the conversation easy but our instant connection made us fast friends. I looked forward to their wedding day over the months and was so excited to travel to the beautiful state of Vermont to capture it. After a very rainy week, the sun peaked out and delivered the most gorgeous day!

I could write a novel about this day, but I'll try and keep it short. I’ve been photographing weddings for over a decade and have come to realize that it’s not about the location, decor, lighting, etc. Sure, those things make for beautiful backdrops, but it’s about the people. Abby and Bobby are the type of couple who just exude love and kindness. They make everyone around them feel seen, loved and supported, and in turn, get that same love back from their friends and family. Their crew made our day so easy and made us feel like we were a part of the family. You could just tell that everyone there was honored to know this couple.
