Court & Ted - Inn at Mazama, Washington

What a week! We packed up the fam and headed to Mazama, Washington for a very special couple. I met Court 4 years ago (almost to the day!) at Outwild in the New Hampshire. When she and Ted asked me to document their wedding weekend, I was beyond honored and knew it was going to be one to remember.

Every moment of the three day celebration was filled with so much warmth and love. Kids played in the fields at the rehearsal, friends and fam reunited at the local pub, speeches brought everyone to tears at the welcome dinner and so much fun was had on the group run/hike the morning of the wedding. Then, it was time to get these two hitched! By the actual wedding afternoon I felt like we had already had the most incredible time with everyone, and it was only beginning. I loved that they included their sweet pup Dash in the first look. Sanni’s ceremony was so beautiful and after sneaking away to the North Cascades National Park for portraits, the couple danced the night way, ending with a mountain sparkle silent disco. Court and Ted’s friends and family made us feel like a part of the crew and it was so fun to reconnect with our mutual friends. They even invited our daughter Fiona to join the other kids and walk down the aisle. It was a highlight of my career as a photographer and as a mom.

Court and Ted, we love you and are so happy for you both. You two are the perfect match and you made it so easy for us to tell your story through these photos. Your love is so free and beautiful and effortless to capture.
