Jessica & Brandon - Turks and Caicos

Sunshine and beautiful beaches by the crystal clear ocean is exactly what called my name after finishing up my local wedding season here in New England. I had only talked to Jessica on the phone, but when we did, it was as if we already knew each other and it made me SO excited to travel to Turks & Caicos to document their wedding. Jessica and her husband Brandon own Truckin’ Pizza, an incredibly delicious food truck based in Southern Maine. We connected over our experiences as wedding vendors, our love for our little ones, and our passions and outlook on life. The day before their wedding, I met up with them on the beach for dinner and we shared a big hug that was long overdue. The kids ran and splashed in the ocean as we started the celebration for this lovely couple.

Clear skies and perfect temps in the 80’s were a welcomed change after a very rainy wedding season. Jessica and Brandon were already legally married, but wanted to travel to a special place to celebrate with their families. Beaches Turks & Caicos was the perfect backdrop and my first experience at an all inclusive resort. It was the BEST! Their ceremony was full of warmth, love and words that brought tears to everyone’s cheeks, as they re-affirmed their vows with their son and daughter at the alter with them. From there, we kicked off our shoes and ran on the beach for sunset portraits before dancing the night away!

Destination weddings always feel like such an honor because a lot goes in to choosing and trusting a photographer to travel and tell your story.
