Kristy & John - Peaks Island, Maine

Kristy and John had an intimate wedding ceremony last year with close friends and family, but they were so excited to finally celebrate with the rest of the wonderful people in their lives! It was the most stunning summer day on Peaks Island. The TEIA was beautifully decorated, twinkle lights illuminating the place with soft blue florals on each table.

The story of meeting Kristy + John will always be my favorite. Years ago, we were both hiking South Moat in the White Mountains when I snapped a photo of their beautiful dog Kessler. We had a quick enchange of Instagram names/ Kessler’s #hashtag and we connected afterwards when I posted the photo. Fast forward 5 (or 6?!) years, here we are, connected by that moment! Since then, they adopted a new pup from my favorite Oklahoma rescue, Skiatook Paws and Claws, and I loved seeing the details of the pups on the table numbers and cake.

I feel so luck to know these two and feel so welcome with their family. I am so excited to share their day below!
