Michael & Chase - Acadia Elopement

I’ve β€œknown” Michael and Chase for about 4 years via Instagram.. until we met last year in person. We instantly clicked over our shared love of dogs and Maine. Fast forward to their wedding day - it was supposed to be a huge celebration with friends but changed to an elopement due to Covid. While I know this was a tough decision for them, it was safe and allowed them to have an intimate sunrise elopement. They chose the most stunning rocks overlooking the ocean and the sun came out right as they said β€œI do” and kissed! It was seriously the most magical morning chasing light and love with these two. Their dear friend Fhiwa was their officiant and created a beautiful ceremony for the couple. Michael and Chase made my job so easy by being so adorably in love and romantic. After formals, they changed into their LL Bean flannels and we explored near by trails in Acadia. The foliage held on and gave us stunning pops of color and of course, Charlie the pup (best boy!) was a huge part of their day.

People like these two don’t come around often, and that’s one of the many reasons why I hold Michael and Chase so dear to my heart. They have become close friends and have given me so much support over years. I cannot put into words how much they mean to me! Corey and I even got to sign their marriage license as witnesses… thus making our friendship more than official!

Congratulations to the Brightwells, I hope you can re-live your day through these photos!
